Yeah, I also watch and listen to reviews after I’ve written my review. Only because I’m interested in seeing how other people have perceived the episodes. And they sometimes provide an interesting angle or insight that I hadn’t noticed earlier.

Just to add, any time I’m watching reaction videos and reviews, it’s after watching the episode, since I don’t want to be spoiled on it, and I definitely am watching ones by a few people I like watching reactions/reviews from, but I will mix in a few I am not familiar with.
Half of it is watching a reaction serves as sort of half rewatching the episode. I’m also interested to know if they notice anything I didn’t, or have any interesting observations…
I’m pretty strict with who I watch - and I end up a faithful watcher. Regarding Doctor Who, that’s Sesskasays for me. I do like Vera, but I watch non-Doctor Who videos from Council and Break Room of Geeks more frequently.
Sesskasays is definitely in there!
Never heard of Sesskasays
She’s up to “The Two Doctors” in reacting to classic right now, and also is reacting to current things.
She’s one of the reactors that will take the time to discuss the episode after reacting to it, which I always like.
Poor woman having to sit through this pain of a multi doctor story… /hj
But oh yeah, I saw some of her Reactions to Classic Serials! They are lovely!
It is Six’s best TV story /nj
They are, and a lot of reactors only react to non-Classic Who, too, so I always like to see it when people will react to Classic.
And yeah, the Two Doctors is in a spot where it’s 2 and Jamie coming back, and I love 2 and Jamie, but…
(And while it’s not something I’d have been thinking about previously when watching it, I’m sure I’ll be missing Zoe on future watches of it…)
I think The Two Doctors is one of the absolute worst things to have been made in Doctor Who. I think it’s truly awful.
When I started watching classic I hadn’t integrated much with any corner of the fandom yet, and Sesskasays was already working through Classic - she was in the First or Second Doctor, can’t remember. She was one of the few people reacting to Classic and it was nice to have someone “watching with me”. She also make videos reviewing a Doctor era after she finishes it in classic, I love her.
I haven’t watched her, but I have heard of her. Maybe something else to watch if I get bored.
Agree to disagree! I actually don’t mind much of the Parts with Six in it, the Problem arises with mostly the Rest for me, glad you do enjoy it!
Yeah, I do love them, so I am extra critical with how they’re done it, personally I just really dislike how they portrayed 2 in this Story, but that’s probably a Discussion for another Thread/Topic!
And yeah agreed nice to see somebody react to Classic Who for once and not just the revived Series!
She evolved her format with the years, but it has been quite some time it’s a one-hour reaction (so two parts) a week + her thoughts after watching. Then when she wraps up a Doctor she does that huge videos for the era. I think she only did that for classic tho, not so sure.
I hope she dips her toes with more audios when she finishes the TV series. As far a I remember she only tried a Torchwood monthly some years ago.
I seem to remember being good with the first half, but after it got back to earth is a different matter. Been a good while since I’ve seen it, though.
Oh, also worth noting that I really haven’t watched it in a while, so I’m a good more familiar with the second Doctor now then I was the last time I watched it. Could easily see being more critical of how he was handled if I rewatch it now.
I’m quite bad for only watching the reactions and skipping the post-episode discussion parts but she’s one that I’ll listen to sometimes!
I think she’s really great!
I just rewatched The Robot Revolution.
I always like things more on a rewatch because I feel the pressure in my head saying “pleasebegoodpleasebegoodpleasebegood” is gone now
I had a good time with it! The strongest new companion introduction we have had in a long while.
(In fact I think it’s the best since The Pilot where Bill is introduced)
