Hulke is my favorite TV Who writer and I’m sad I missed the beginning of this one lol, but it is indeed hard to choose a favorite. Mine is Ambassadors of Death, alas, but all those that remain are also very high up for me, especially the two related to prehistoric reptilia…

I love, love, love both of these stories. They are both such big concept stories. The War Games manages never to get boring during 10 whole episodes which is a wild feat. But I give this one to Invasion of the Dinosaurs for two reasons, it is pure Hulke without the more “adventure story” style of Terrance Dicks influencing the narrative, and the Third Doctor is just closer to my heart 
(The Dinosaurs are very dodgy though 
)
Oh and I love that they named the first episode “Invasion” in the titles so as not to give away that reveal 
- looking at you all “…of the Daleks” stories 
)
Oh but War Games… Am I making the right choice here?
