If it’s the one with Sophie, Sarah, and Janet, it was part of a series. I haven’t seen “The 60s,” but “The 70s” was Caroline, Katy, and Louise (also narrated by Peter), and “Boys Boys Boys” was Peter, Frazer, and Mark, but without a narrator.
It was a weird choice to have a man narrating the women’s features, but I’d have been more okay with it if they’d pulled one of the women in to do the same for the men’s.
I’m really looking forward to the SE of Silver Nemesis and your comments, @Napp, are only heightening my anticipation.
The team have done an extraordinary job with this Collection set so far. Sumptuous. The documentaries, interviews etc. are also truly outstanding. So far, I’ve been delighted and moved by the feature on Dursley McLinden, and thoroughly enjoyed Matthew Sweet’s “In Conversation” with Chris Clough.
I am hearing so much good stuff about this set that I’m sorely tempted to break my ‘standard editions only’ rule for a second time and get this now rather than later. (The other time I broke it was for the Limited Edition of Season 24 - naturally).

(If your wife complains, send her over to us. We will explain the importance of the situation).
(If your wallet complains, too bad. There is nothing we can do about it).
I wasn’t looking forward to Silver Nemesis as I didn’t have fond memories of it, but i really enjoyed it. A fun romp and Fiona Walker seemed to be having the best time. But the Cybermen felt under used and not especially scary/ dangerous.
Sylvester has an uncomplimentary name for the Nemesis meteorite; he calls it a flying turd. To use a clumsy analogy, you know what they say about it being impossible to polish one – yes, it’s Silver Nemesis Special Edition episodes 2&3.
There’s no doubt that the upgrades have made it pacier and a lot more coherent. I love that the Cyber-ship now has ‘feet’ to aid a smoother landing! It still astonishes me that the scenes with the skinheads were kept in the transmitted version when they add nothing to the story; wouldn’t it have been better to keep the moments where various characters explain moments of the plot to us? Now at least, with this enhanced version, we have the best of both worlds.
I loved the scenes of Peinforte and Richard roaming the present-day streets of 1980s York and getting a few curious gazes from members of the public – or rather, members of the Doctor Who production team at the time. These two are such great fun, with Richard asking ‘What creatures are these? They will eat us!’ when spying a pair of goats. And you just know you have nothing to worry about when the Cyber Leader tells his comrade ‘Cyber victory is inevitable.’
I would say though, that it’s in the final episode that things fall apart a bit. I enjoyed the silliness of the scenes involving Mrs Remington but there’s no question about it – it’s filler and contributes nothing to the overall piece. Remington’s polite response to the raving Peinforte’s insistence that ‘all things shall be mine’ is terrific though. The finale was apparently filmed with no rehearsal and very little shooting time and sadly it shows. A pivotal scene, with the question finally being asked, ‘Doctor who?’ is as effective as it is because of Fiona Walker’s excellent delivery, but sadly the whole set-up comes across as a little … amateur, I’m sorry to say. The living statue is still very creepy, however.
Finally, the change of music performed in the very last scene is probably too much, a step too far, but I like Sylv’s final wink to the viewer – very reminiscent of the title sequence. It’s a mixed bag, this. Ultimately I think that the journey is better than the resolution. The Cybermen are woefully underserved by being defeated by an 18-year-old with a catapult, but I think Richard and Lady Peinforte are the stars of the particular celebration.
