I hope you don’t seriously believe this. There’s no way it will be back next year since they haven’t even started production on S3. It all depends on how fast they can pick up production again after Disney makes their decision, but I’d say 2027 is much more likely.

Unless they make a Christmas Special of course.

If Disney decide to stay, it could be all systems go as soon as they’re able. But if Ncuti has gone, they’ll have to first find a new Doctor.

If Disney decide not to stay, well, it depends how quickly (or not) they can find a new partner. That could be a lengthy process.

Yeah, and it also depends on how much pre-stuff has been done. The TARDIS set stands, but does RTD have story outlines? Early drafts? Or will he have to write the scripts from scratch? That takes time! Not to mention all the location scouting, building prosthetics, costumes, prosthetics, and casting.
