I’ve only just watched the trailer and it’s good! If the doomsayers are right and this is the last series, it looks like the show will go out on a high. But, of course, Doctor Who is going to carry on forever! It looks amazing.

This looks fun, even if it’s weird seeing Who have this much of a Budget. It does feel like ever since Joy. The Show has written with a more expensive Budget to be used in mind or is it just me?
The Trailer was fun honestly, hoping for the best with this Series, really want to get win over with that Era this time around, but we shall see.
Yes but I reckon it will be a short Moment like “Doctor, why does she look like me?” “Oh well she is related you” moves on, never mention it again

Watched the trailer.
Look, it is a good trailer but I’ve been duped by trailers before and having been quite so burned by the last few episodes to the point where I’d never been less enthused about the show… I’m still sadly not in the least bit excited.
I hope these low expectations make for being completely bowled over because, honestly, I do really want to like it.
That said, I thought the shorter trailer straight after Joy to the World was better.

I know the feeling. I paused the show for a couple of years during the Thirteenth Doctors era because the writing did not speak to me. I think that the break was good for my interest for the show and now I am more invested then ever before.

Does the Classic Series just not exist? Happened across an Inverse article[1] about how the show needs to be about the Doctor again. Okay, fine. But then they say this: “This trailer introduces Varada Sethu as Belinda Chandra, a companion unlike any we’ve seen before. She’s not interested in going on adventures through time and space, she just wants to get home.” I’m sorry, a companion unlike any we’ve seen before? What about Ian and Barbara at the start, or specifically Tegan who spent a whole season complaining about wanting to get back to Heathrow? I get that the show has been around for 60+ years and I can’t expect everyone who writes an article about it to have watched every episode. But at least do some research before you publish.

Haven’t been hyped like this for Doctor Who since season 10
Still enjoyed Flux and 13, but it’s more comparable to my season 10 hype.
