Yippie, can’t say much on two of those Writers here as I am not familiar with their work, but I am quite excited either way to see it!
Now, about the Two who have previously worked on Who:
Juno Dawson, I only know from The Good Doctor, which I thought was quite excellent. (I really want to get around to Redacted Series 1 eventually, maybe I will do it sooner rather than later…)
Pete McTighe isn’t the Choice of a Writer from the Chibnall Era, who I would choose, but that said, despite not being too huge on his two televised Who Episode, you never know. I will go in his Episode with an Open Mind, his Work on the Collection Minisodes is usually splendid!
Either way, my Excitement slowly is growing for this Series!
Calling it now, Moffat’s next episode is titled “Budget Cut” and it’s a meta-level parody of Doctor Who. He said the words so many times that it has to be a clue!!!
I’d quite like that. He’s right that some of the best things in Doctor Who have come from budget cuts.
After all, if Midnight wins the Elimination Game then the best story from RTD was one where it was entirely filmed inside a tiny bus with about 6 people and no prosthetics or CGI to really speak of.
That headline alone made me dismiss it as total garbage. The Sun were also the ones who reported loudly about Millie Gibson being fired from Doctor Who, because of her diva behaviour, which is why she isn’t in Season 2 - all of this is completely false, of course.
