Doctor Who Dreams

Best Doctor Who dream I have ever had was one that was like Doctor Who meets Night At The Museum.

I was with a group of friends in what was basically a Doctor Who Exhibition but housed inside this old building that looked like a history museum. There were exhibits based on various Doctor Who monsters, like the Flood and the Sontarans. Suddenly, these models of the Doctor Who monsters came to life, and started chasing me through the museum. I felt a hand grab me, turned, and saw the Tenth Doctor running by my side. We got separated, and I tripped as I was running and fell to the ground. One of the Flood monsters started leering over me, its water dripping dangerously close to my skin.

Somehow I escaped (can’t remember how), and made it out of the museum. I hated myself in this dream because I just abandoned my friends instead of going back for them and helping them escape. I was more like Adam Mitchell than Rory Williams.

It was a very cool dream though, because it felt like being inside a Doctor Who episode. It even had Murray Gold music scoring it; I could hear All The Strange, Strange Creatures as myself and the Tenth Doctor ran through the museum.

So uhhh-- a bit embarrassing.

I dreamt of the episode Spyfall but as The Master is explaining his grand evil plan, and starts to enact it, 13 kisses him and holds him so he can’t actually go anywhere. The kiss itself is more… Torchwood style, eating eachother’s faces off

And problem solved, The Master gets all embarrassed and shy and Thoschei was more canon than it ever was, and then I rate Spyfall a 5/5  on this site.

Why put it into the Dreams Topic? This actually happened!

For some reason I was initially thinking Power of the Doctor despite you saying Spyfall, and was wondering if they were body-swapped at the time…

I don’t usually remember dreams, but for once I had one that sticks in my mind.

I was riding a mountain bike on a veeery muddy trail alongside Henry Gordon Jago and Professor George Litefoot, both in full Victorian evening wear with top hats.

Just had a dream earlier which I won’t be explicit about but just wanted to say huge Trigger Warning for SA, so pls don’t read if u don’t want to. But again, I won’t be too in-detail at all.

Had a hurt/comfort dream where it started with 13 actually waking up next to Yaz, having had a nightmare in the TARDIS. The nightmare was based on events that happened a few months prior. The Doctor had been tricked into being kidnapped by a couple who despise the Time Lord race, and the Doctor’s messages of hope, saving people, etc. they lock her up in this complex with them, though she can wander around, as the complex is still sealed off in the centre of a maze. It resembles a countryside retreat.

SA Trigger Warning:

This elderly couple despise the Doctor so greatly their aim is to forcibly make her a mother, and to strip away her autonomy of exploring the universe, as The Doctor. This never happens, and The Doctor doesn’t go through that, but she is hurt in other ways.

Luckily Yaz breaks into the complex and slings The Doctor’s arms around her and they try to escape the complex together. It’s at this point it turns into Resident Evil 7, with the male of the couple trying to imprison them both. But they both escape, back to the TARDIS. Yay!

I think on a deeper level this is just my fear of pregnancy being used to strip away a future. Or being forced down a life path you REALLY don’t want to take.

(IRL) Though I don’t know her at all, and for simplicity’s sake, I’ll call her my step-sister, she’s 22, and recently found out she’s pregnant. She’s happy (which is good ofc), but I can’t help but feel like that’s also subtly being what I’m compared to, even though that’s a lifestyle I’m not prepared for. I’m 20 rn. My mum had me at 21.

There’s this horrible creeping kind of expectation of what is successful/fulfilling for a woman of my age in my family, and that’s to have kids in your early 20s. Ofc not a bad thing if that’s what people genuinely want (and by no means saying anything to deter people!!) but to me rn, it manifested as a literal nightmare :grinning_face_with_smiling_eyes:

But at least it was Thasmin.

I dreamt that I was a teenager and Rose Noble was my cousin. No Auntie Donna or Uncle Shaun or Grandma/Distant Relation by Marriage Sylvia, though.

Just had a dream obviously inspired by our TV Club Extra (Film Club?)…

It was about Cushing’s Dr. Who and included the Master of that universe. Dr. Who was talking to some soldier on some type of a warehouse, then the Master arrived with a machine gun and killed that soldier and a couple of others. The Master looked like Roger Delgado, but his moustache was much more eccentric (it was very long and kinda curled). After that Dr. Who said to Master that all these killings were ‘completely unnecessary’, and went to his TARDIS…

Woke up from a wild dream about me watching a first episode of the 3-part finale of a new Doctor Who season

It starred David Tennant as the 14th Doctor (I know, I know…) and ended with him jumping right into the time vortex. The first part of the episode was somehow an examination of generational trauma, and the second part was a weird trip with flashbacks to various New Who episodes. Next Time trailer indicated that Pandorica would be important for the finale

Also I think I had another dream which was about me asking for help with the maths exercise right here, on this very forum…

Your Who Dreams sound insane.. I approve  (and now i want cushings doctor vs delgados master..)

Anyway I myself had a Who Dream too, don’t remember anything, but it was announced that Chloe Bennet would become the 17th Doctor. Why her? No Idea, even weirder since I haven’t seen anything with her recently, also just an odd Choice for the Role of Doctor Who, I must add.

Not a full blown dream but when I was drifting off to sleep last night I was imagining me becoming a published author and begging in every interview to have anyone on Doctor Who - whatever medium or format - contact me and let me write for it :sob:

Oh I just remembered @sircarolyn was in my dream last night. Not as a main character or anything, I just randomly knew it was her. We were in a diner I think, I was sulking at the counter and you were in the background on a date with a girl who I think was probably Leela. It was the 50s im pretty sure. Probably Leela was wearing a poodle skirt

And this was all a footnote in a dream where I was a surgeon doing malpractice and murdering past versions of myself. I blame this on my brother watching house md
