Doctor Who Crossovers You'd Like To See

‘Doctor Who crossovers’? Oh my dear fellow, that’s basically more than half of my fanfic repertoire!

Doctor Who x Hazbin Hotel, Doctor Who x Detective Conan…You name it, I’ve probably wrote one (or planning to write one)

We’re basically pitching a different World Enough And Time hahaha

That does pretty much turn it into World Enough and Time, doesn’t it? Fits, though.

Oh, it’s got to be Missy with Shaggy and Scooby for maximum comic effect. The Doctor and a slightly crushing Daphne, making Fred jealous; Bill and Velma taking it all in with benevolent lesbian bemusement.

Or alternatively, Velma crushing on the Doctor, because he’d certainly be her type if you read her as being into men (see: Ben Ravencroft).

Then again, we could have Eleven or even Ten comparing notes with Fred on chic neckwear.

I want an illustration of Nardole holding Scrappy Doo haha

Shocker, but I would love to see a Doctor Who/X-Files crossover. Rather than the Doctor himself appearing, I think it would be more fun to transplant a monster into the X-Files setting and have Mulder and Scully attempt to deal with it - maybe the Weeping Angels, The Silence or the Crispy Master?

Otherwise, and outside of the live-action sphere, a Doctor Who/Mass Effect crossover would be the stuff that my teenage self’s dreams were made of. I’ve seen a few people point out the similarities between I am the Doctor from the series 5 soundtrack and Suicide Mission from the Mass Effect 2 soundtrack (link to the latter: https://youtu.be/VTsD2FjmLsw?feature=shared), and in that same vein, I think Eleven taking on the Reapers would make for a fantastic story.

7/Ace land in Twin Peaks. Ace & Audrey find something haunted in the basement of The Great Northern, The Doctor and Major Briggs enter The Black Lodge.

Twin Peaks is a fantastic suggestion, and I love the Seven/Ace pairing for it specifically - I think they would both fit really well into the setting (Ace very much fits the rebellious teenager archetype of several of the other characters, while Seven is obviously more than eccentric enough to fit in with some of the town’s stranger inhabitants). The other interesting thing about this one is I think it’s a rare scenario where Seven has no hope of winning, and in fact I think the stuff going on in the town would push him to places we don’t tend to see him (being on the back foot/being scared).

With the Disney deal, you would think my dream of the Muppets appearing on Doctor Who (or vice versa) would become a reality, but sadly not. If the Disney deal is renewed, the next Doctor should be played by Gonzo.

God, this talk of DW Video Game Crossovers makes me want a Doctor to meet Professor Layton

How about a human Doctor… and Miss Piggy as the companion? Gonzo as the Master, maybe? Cybermuppets?

I agree with all of those!

CW: Gore/Body Horror?

…just had the horrific mental image of cybermen carving up a human to create multiple smaller cybermen, using individual parts of the body as the basis

This was the best I could find, but it’s pretty good.

I keep thinking about this.

SHAGGY: “Hahaha! Like wow, Scoob, I guess nobody ever told Mr. Rasputin his beard needed a trim!”
SCOOBY: “Reah! Ree-hee-hee-hee-hee!”
MASTER: (turns in his portrait frame to face Shaggy) “I am the Master and you will obey me.”
SHAGGY: “Oh, like, sorry, Mr. Master, I thought you were Rasputin.” (giggles in embarrassment)
SCOOBY (singing): “Ra-Ra-Rasputin, reatest Russian rove machine!”
MASTER: “I am Rasputin, and I am also the Master, and you will obey me!” (He leans out of the frame and tries to grab Shaggy, who slips through.)
SHAGGY: “Zoinks!” (Shaggy and Scooby escape.)

SHAGGY: (sighs) “Wouldn’t you know it, Scoob, this nice big kitchen and all the cupboards are bare.”
SCOOBY: “Reah.” (mimes sobbing and withering away from starvation)
SHAGGY: “Nothing here but us and these kooky trash cans.” (He raps on the lid of one, which spins around to face him.)
DALEK: “Daaaleks are not trash cans! EXTERMINATE!”
(Scooby and Shaggy scream as they run so fast they fly above the Dalek’s fire.)

It would feel quite natural if they crossed over too, because they are actually quite similar. Both involve their protagonists investigating mysteries against sometimes spooky backdrops. The main difference is that the resolution in Scooby-Doo is usually that it’s someone dressed in a monster costume, whereas in Doctor Who the monsters are either aliens or an Earthbound species that came before us.

The villains are usually capitalists, though, which is pretty often the case in Doctor Who as well…

I feel like it would have to be an alien wearing a human suit, wearing a fake alien mask on top of that. Slitheen? Or even a Zygon!

Well the muppets meeting doctor who has already happened https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=OSRAoSCO2O0

Anyway crossover ideas.

I’ve always loved the idea of what if (fictional character) was a companion to The Doctor? i think it would be a real character analysis of a character to show how they would react to all the doctor’s adventures. I wrote a couple chapters of a what if where Peter Parker was the companion because I just think he’s good companion material, guy down on his luck and wants more out of the world and he just so happens to have bit by a radioactive spider. I was going to make venom the villian because I don’t think the doctor has faced anything like venom and there would have been a venom possesed doctor at one point but I couldn’t really figure out how to contiue.
