It began as a off handed comment from @shauny, but now we want to do it for real: Tardis Guide’s very own season of Doctor Who, which will, of course, be perfect in every way.
The idea is to run polls to decide on the main aspects of the season (i.e., villains and settings we want to use), build our own perfect companion, and then go episode by episode until our perfect grand finale.
What do people think? Any ideas? Who wants to help out “officially”?
Love the idea honestly. Think it’d be a really fun collaborative thing for us all to get involved in and see what the general consensus is! Time periods, number of historicals, number of returning elements! Lots of possibilities.

I think this is a great idea. Using democracy to make the ideal doctor who. Some kind of average from all the many diverging opinions!
Are we going to design our own doctor? Or vote on which real incarnation to use? Either could be fun I think.
I’d love to help, even if I probably just cannibalize a lot of Ideas for my “sort-of”/“Sort of-not” alternative Doctor Who Take.
Very excited to see what will become of this, I even have some Ideas what could possibly some of the first Time to vote about such if there should be a romantic Interest or not (okay maybe that’s a bit of a heated question, but an important one to ask nonetheless!)

We should obviously make a poll about which Doctor we will use, an existing one or our own one.
Maybe a thread with just the polls and a separate discussion thread so it doesn’t get too lost?
My votes can be bought if folks vote for episodes in Scandinavia!!!

I am thinking that a kind of season 7 approach but the Doctor is trapped in Scandinavia not Norway
Yes, and their TARDIS wouldn’t work, so they would have to visit IKEA to get those bits and bops they need for their tinkering…

My first idea was to use Fifteen as the Doctor so we have the entirety of the show to play with, but if people would prefer to use another or build a new one, of course we can do that. I love democracy and all.

If Original > Which Gender perhaps?
Number of eps, returning elements, pure historicals and such like.
Could maybe set up a list of Q’s for an initial round, don’t need to take big leaps and do it all at once?
