I missed this news story from a few days ago and haven’t seen it mentioned around here, but apparently on the 23rd November, we’re going to be treated to some unseen footage from Series 1.

I enjoyed watching these. It was a shame some were cut. In particular, the deleted scene from the end of The Devil’s Chord (confirmed what we all knew, but would have clarified the end for the general audience). Also, a couple of scenes from Empire of Death (the fading memory of the remembered TARDIS and the lovely little scene of the Doctor giving himself the whistle). All in all, lovely to see them. As @SophieScarlet said, though, it’s a shame these were not included on the Blu Ray Season 1 set.

Just recently watched them, here are some of my silly Thoughts in order of where they are placed in the Official Video:
-Love the Giggle Scene with Donna and Kate, honestly wish it stayed in the Episode.
-The other Giggle Scene is a fun Idea, but I totally see why it got deleted out of the Episode.
-I really love the first Space Babies Scene Millie is just great here, but I can see how it got cut, considering it’s basically just retelling Events we have already seen in the previous Episode. Still would have liked if the Scene was kept in honestly.
-Lovely other Scene with some great Tension but considering how the Episode ended up, I am totally fine with it being cut out.
-That’s a nice little Scene, wouldn’t have minded if it was kept in.
-Love Ncuti´s Play but yeah no this Scene getting deleted is fair, the Devils Chord makes it already obvious enough so we don’t have to spell it out again.
-Solid Scene with Maestro, but yeah, can see why it got cut.
-Don’t have an Opinion on that Scene, it’s fine, fair enough why it got deleted.
-Nice way of showing that Music is back, but that one Guy feels a bit of an Overkill, so I totally get why it got cut.
-The first Yards Scene is lovely, wish they kept it.
-Oh, I love that Moment! Wish they kept it as well in the Episode
-Wait is this an alternative Take on already existing Scene with the Legend of Ruby Sunday one?!
-Not big on that Scene
-Meh didn’t like that Scene in particular
Overall interesting to see them! Shame they weren’t on the physical Release sadly.
