YES!!! is the short answer
S1-4 are absolutely excellent and have a story that follows all the way through to perfection, and I personally love New CM although there are a couple of dud episodes in there. If you love Remembrance, or the 60s vibe, or female scientists and their pet military guy getting into trouble bc aliens and also their manipulative boss, then yes. Counter Measures is for you.
I could go on but I’ll be restrained for now

I recently finished series 1 and 2 (which are both available on Spotify and Apple Music) and they were both excellent. I highly recommend them.
