Ok, so The Magnificent 37th Gallifrey One next year will have a western theme. I have a Stetson, but it’s black, the wrong color for 11 in The Impossible Astronaut. But, there was a time the Doctor wore a black (or at least black appearing) cowboy hat (not quite matching my Stetson, but I say close enough). I’ll be doing a Gunfighters First Doctor. I’ve got a year to get it put together. I’ll maybe post some stuff from this year’s Gally here soon too.

You should also learn the entirety of The Ballad of the Last Chance Saloon by heart so that you can sing it throughout the entire event. I promise you it will be a success!

I love to sew and I try multiple ways to craft things (woodworking, leatherworking, knitting…). I have a few Doctor Who costumes that I’ve made (some are old and I don’t have them anymore because they wore out). My hardest project was the Simm Master jacket from Series 10. The collar is so complex! The Dalek was made following the 1973 official Doctor Who Dalek Builders’ Guild plans! =D My K9 is falling apart; it was my first wood project and I really need to build a new one.

Yes it did occur to me that it is just something I could wear normally or to a wedding or something but that’s why I went with the red shirt as a more different / iconic look, plus I have a dark purple shirt and other ties.
But hey it’s my first cosplay and people who have seen me say I look just like him plus I’ll be getting a photo with GDL
