Has anyone else been following the One World Under Doom event in the current Marvel comics?
I’m thinking of checking out a couple of the tie-in series, but I don’t know which ones are good.

Watchmen was very good (but definitely overrated).
The Court of Owls was a great Batman story.

So I just finished Earth One.

I really struggle with Grant Morrison’s writing.
At least I didn’t hate Earth One as much as All-Star Superman

I usually like Grant Morrison (I haven’t read All-Star Superman, but with the exception of some big bumps - like what was done to Talia or how he chose to protrayal Magneto and all the ideas behind that - I quite liked both Batman and New X-Men.
Wonder Woman: Earth One is just tho.
Book One is whatever. It’s still bad. Morrison is full of themselves swearing they are doing the Golden Age justice, but I just find it bad modernization. And it’s one more example of agressive and unlikable amazons. This time they are fatphobic to Etta! Just no! And someone should tell Sasha Grey they were using her image.
Books 2-3 are straight trash tho. What bothers me the most is that I totally get trying to get the BDSM understones back to the surface, but there are so so many moments done in bad taste and the comic just never stops and reflect that good BDSM needs to be CONSENSUAL.

I agree with them all.
Also, while All-Star Superman is just an awful mess, Earth One actually had the potential to be a good book, and there are some elements of the story I would have loved had they been used properly , but Morrison just doesn’t get it at all.
I have read some of their New X-Men, and it was rather good. So I don’t understand how they can also write such rubbish.

Brief summary of my thoughts on comics released this week I read:
Absolute Wonder Woman was amazing. Wonder Woman was terrible.
Fantastic Four was beautiful. Absolute Martian Manhunter was great. I’m apathetic to Ultimate Wolverine, it’s fine. Wolverine: Revenge was very underwhelming.
I abhor the idea of X-Manhunt because I’m really tired of Xavier and what he has become, so sadly a bad week for regular x-comics for me.
Someone has to stop Jeph Loeb writing the same story one thousand times. Someone please save the main Batman title.
Metamorpho is Ewing’s gift for me. That’s it. He did that comic thinking about me.

I’ve been wanting to read this for ages, but it’s about to finish soon 
I have a few random issues of this (don’t ask me why) but I’m yet to read any of them.
I think it’s been an alright event so far. I’ve never really liked Xavier anyway, but this has been solid enough. It’s just nice seeing the X-books cross over (but I’m still waiting for the two best series/teams to meet: Exceptional and Uncanny).

You mean the Ryan North run? Don’t quote me on that, but I heard (and did not confirm) that it was a relaunch after One World Under Doom, but that he would remain on the title.
