The airlock won’t open, leaving the Doctor and Penny trapped as malignocites swarm after them. Struggling to breathe in the moon’s thin atmosphere, they reach a gas vent and a cave. The Doctor suggests they split up.
Why split up… I feel like there have been a lot of the same now. I want something other than running away to happen…

Having said that, it’s still the best of them by a country mile.
Do you think in some versions Jiao dies? That could be why they’ve written her out at this point.

Urgj, another boring choice. I picked the gas vent because we’ve already been to the caves. I’m not a fan of dumping Penny too. This book seems closer to the first one we did now.

The Doctor dives into a vent to escape the malignocites, but gets stuck upside-down in the dark. After a tense struggle, he calms himself and manages to slide out, only to hear eerie noises nearby—human voices or more creatures?
Seriously though, where are we going with this now?

Jiao’s already missing! Penny’s vanished! We might as well save ourselves at this point

The Doctor explores a long-abandoned basement, finding dusty rooms, garages, and eerie storage spaces with worn spacesuits hanging on hooks. The atmosphere feels unsettling, and a door creaks open nearby.
