Choose the Future - Terror Moon - Read-Along 3

He has two character traits. He is horny and an ass. He uses alien drugs to sexually assault people, and when Gwen is in danger from the sex gas, he stops to record it instead of helping his colleague. And that is just in the first two episodes.

Rose also has two, both of which also applies to Owen.

  • She is smug.
  • She is horny (for the Doctor)

That applies to almost every modern companion…

In the name of equality, could they share the top spot?

I rather like Rory, he’s a bit like me.

Your wife tried to run off with a madman in a box the night before your wedding?! :flushed:

Sheesh, if my wife thought like that, I’d still be single.

Yes, and we’re constantly travelling with our adult daughter from the future who’s actually married to said madman!

Do people keep referring to you daughter as a psychopath even though she’s never shown a single psychopathic trait in her life?

Again, got to say, I’m loving the way this one’s written so far

Last choice: If you think the Doctor should warn Jiao to stay back

‘Keep back,’ says the Doctor, motioning Jiao away. ‘Further back. Well out of range.’ Jiao steps back, alarmed as he explains the multiplying nanites repurposing the professor’s body.

Before she can respond, the corpse stirs, releasing a black vapor that forms a hovering fog. ‘What is it?’ she asks. ‘More important we run,’ the Doctor replies, grabbing her hand. ‘So run!’

Terror Moon - Page 53

The Doctor and Jiao race through a door as the black cloud follows. The Doctor seals the door with his sonic screwdriver, but Jiao’s relief fades when he explains the nanites have evolved into an airborne organism.

Jiao reveals surviving scientists are in the outer base. The Doctor hesitates, fearing they might lead the cloud to them. Looking out the porthole, Jiao panics: ‘It’s trying to interface with the door controls!’

Terror Moon - Page 29

The Doctor and Jiao race through airlocks, sealing each behind them to slow the advancing nanite cloud.

With only minutes to live, they debate their options: flee to the shuttle bay or hide in the caves. The buzzing cloud closes in, and the Doctor, sonic in hand, ponders their next move.

  • If you think the Doctor should continue heading for the space shuttle
  • If you think he should head for the caves instead
