Hello I’m Gibby. I’ve been using the site for a while now as a place to look at data and organise lists and so on but I’ve recently been thinking about using it more to yap about my opinions as I go further into the EU and so on. I am a certified fifth doctor stan and I will defend everyone of his stories to my grave.

You might need to hop into the Audio Club and defend the Fifth Doctor stories there because so far I’m afraid I haven’t found them the best.

Welcome indeed! You’ll find this to be a friendly, inclusive and non-judgemental community. I’m very much a convert, after having got worn down by the rampant negativity and/or unpleasantness on other DW forums (and they call themselves fans?!). Here, you will find people who are passionate about each and every Doctor/era on the show. We are also happy to be critical, but with politeness and using evidence to back up our points. We’re all very aware that every story has its fans. Basically, it’s the best place to discuss DW that I’ve ever found, and I’m certain you will feel the same.
Great to have a committed 5th Doctor fan here. I have a particular fondness for Pertwee/Tom Baker from classic Who and Tennant/Gatwa from 2005+ but I’ve never seen an era of DW I didn’t love. To quote the Brig… “Wonderful chaps, all of them!” Wonderful chaps indeed, and Jodie too!

Well I don’t know about all that. I’ve not dived into the big scary world of Big Finish yet. In terms of TV, how trite would be it be to say Caves is my favourite? I mean it’s just so perfect. His era is awesome tho, Enlightenment, Snakedance, Kinda, Earthshock, Castrovalva and Resurrection also go hard.
