How does the Trials Peri fit in with the Peri from The Widow’s Assassin? (Or is that a spoiler for Trials? I did wonder. I do intend to listen to Trials but the reviews for it weren’t great so I’m not in a rush at the moment! But anything Peri is always worth it.)

While I’d love more Drax stories, it makes sense! They probably don’t want to use anyone other than the original actor except for to do the gimmick they’ve now done twice and deffo can’t do again

Anyway, about Bad Terms really disappointed about the theories going around. I don’t want Tegan and I’m not into the idea of older Peri having been a disguise for Zodin this entire arc. They do character switch-ups/dopplegangers for Peri way too much, even going back to her time with Five. It’s stale now. I just want Peri to be Peri, and I want her and the Doctor as one team with no hangers-on (but especially not Tegan, sorry). If I had to pick a third person to join them, I’d choose Flip. I’m tired of Six playing babysitter to everyone else’s companions, and they always choose companions I don’t care about or want.
I knew I should have listened to it again haha to prepare for questions like this. It’s been a while and I was bored/annoyed for a lot of it. I feel like the Queen/older Peri arc has been a bit convoluted ever since it debuted. TWA showed her very early in her time on Krontep, barely married, and she and the Doctor spirit off for more adventures immediately after it concludes. But Trials says that she’s been on Krontep for a long while (practically since Mindwarp), and that she and Mel have met (referencing Quin Dilemma). The Six and Peri Vol 1 boxset has it that Peri has been on Krontep for a duration between the two aforementioned. Considering there are a billion Peris out there according to Piscon Paradox, any of these could be likely (but it doesn’t make much sense because I think Krontep would know if there were multiple Peris running around the palace lol).

Couldn’t agree more! Ive brcome really endeared to Harry through Christopher Naylor’s go at the role, I’ve not really heard much of Sadie Miller’s Sarah Jane, heres hoping its also good!

I would say that 11 gets about the same amount of content as 12. Especially 11 and Amy, who never get any new content.

I’ve always despised claims that she’s just a ‘vapid Moffat girl’ because that’s not the Amy I see.
I see a lonely 7 year old making a wish that comes true, but then that wish never comes back so she goes back to being that lonely 7 year except now with more things to make fun of. And then she grows into a lonely teenager and a lifetime of being told she makes stuff up in her head and has to stop believing in things that aren’t true. The Doctor has scarred her so badly and she’s lived a life of terror that she can’t trust what she thinks and that everyone is going to leave her - Rory included. She’s loud and prickly because it protects her, but she’s also kind and curious and full of love even if she’s afraid of heartbreak
