As I’ve been saying people just have to make it to A Blind Eye… but obviously everyone is allowed their own opinion. And obviously my opinion is that we should just blast all of Gallifrey
Though also it might be nice to rotate series’ to get a taste of other stuff
We won’t go straight into Gallifrey Series 2 - and Audio Club Extra will always have breaks just to give people the opportunity to catch up/have a life beyond this place.
I have plans but I’m biding my time announcing them…
Considering Dalek Empire, I, Davros, Graceless, Cybermen: Series One and the first five series of Jago & Litefoot are all on Spotify and Apple Music, I’d say those are good places to start off.
While I do understand the cost issue and the FOMO issue, the fact that there’s no time limit on makes it easier to have a Club thread open, and then jump in when you’re able to afford the story.
The Return of the Diary of River Song: Torchwood Barry Island: Jenny: Burton’s Space Buns and Tea - Adventures at Shangri-La - Volume 1: The Fugitive Doctor
When we first thought about the Audio Club, it was a way to encourage people who had never delved into the Main Range to try it, the schedule and “peer pressure” keeping us going.
I really think I would have given up (especially during the boring Fifth Doctor stories ) if I didn’t feel the FOMO and being left behind!
So whilst I love Modern Who, I think we should carry on using it to highlight older, cheaper spin-offs that we might otherwise not listen to.
Or failing that we transform it into the DIARY OF RIVER SONG CLUB
I am interested in continuing with Gallifrey at least through series 3. And I’m open to continuing without a break as well. My budget is a lot tighter so I’m currently just working through the backlog of what I already have, Gallifrey sets 1-3 being a part of that.
