Very happy to see I’m not the only one having a similar experience as I traverse this audio.
Having recently watched The Substance, this didn’t even register to me as body horror until I read this thread. I fear for my sanity.

Well, to be fair, I also expected this to have much more body horror than what it actually does. It’s fairly minimal, but I had understood it as being quite a major part of the episode.

Yeah, so I made the Mistake of listening to this fairly late when I got to it 
That said: Pretty good. I think I prefer the former two Stories a bit more, but there is a lot to like here. I really enjoyed the Body Horror here (if I knew beforehand about the Body Horror, I might have hoped to have more of it, but I didn’t so it worked well, probably even better for me). Like others already pointed out, the Scheming in this one is quite a Highlight too, probably the strongest Outing in regard of the political Aspect compared to the others.
The Biggest Highlight is the Human Greeting Scene, it’s amusing!
Also love how much they do with Bellingham’s Darkel in this Series, and this one in particular.

How is this only halfway through the season!? It feels like a finale!
Amazing story. Liked the body horror, but LOVED the political machinations. The fates of Wynters and Brax are both so tragic and made me gasp.
I can’t wait to hear how the fallout of this story affects the rest of this season

I love this series and I love this story. This is peak Gallifrey for me – so much politics, so many secrets, character drama, body horror, tragedy. Poor Brax. POOR Wynter!!

Relistened just now. This is way more brutal than I remember! We had to hear Wynter mutilating himself twice, and darkel can burn in hell for her manipulation. Sneaky Mr I-hate-romana[1]was a delight as always. I forgot that Leela was made castellan lol. Also I’m sad brax left 
darkel was so cruel to him at the end
