Star-Crossed is my favourite by far. Not just because it has River in, it’s also a brilliant box set.
If I didn’t already own it digitally, I’d buy the CD just because it’s so cool to see them together like that.

I have the boxset physically and it’s sooo goooood- Tim Foley never disappoints me. Me and a friend are literally listening to Friend of the Family now and things hit so much deeper on a second time- for me it’s a second time for my friend it’s the first time- but the clues were there all along!!!
ooh might need to pick up another 9DA boxset.
I definitely want to get one of the 9DAs and I’m really split between shades of fear and into the stars, anyone got any insight? I’ve not listened to any of them before
I think Into the Stars is much better, but I believe I’m in the minority
IMO, Into the Stars was a mixed bag. I rated the 1st and 3rd story 4.5/5, but the 2nd story I really didn’t like and gave a 1/5. I’d say though for the two 4.5/5’s its worth it. Shades of Fear likewise had 1 dud for me which was again the 2nd, I gave it a 0.5/5. Both the same writer btw!! I gave the 1st and 3rd 4/5 so… Yeah whichever you think looks better I’d say, for me they’re pretty close in quality.
I would say maybe Into the Stars because the Sontaran story was just superb, really really good.
I liked 2/3 stories from Into the Stars but only the final story from Shades of Fear, so I’d go for the former personally!
Into the stars it is then!! I do love the sound of the sontaran story almost as much as the idea of listening to Chris Eccleston’s voice for nearly 4 hours hehe

Huh. I might be incredibly stupid.

Not your fault at all. Big Finish should have taken out the old sale details when they created this new Collection for the Seventh Doctor and Ace. At least I assume it’s new. I don’t recall seeing it before today.

Wow, it’s as if somoeone from BF is lurking on the forum and saw me talking about how I want to get into this series.
Now I have to part with my hard-earned money, don’t I?
Don’t I???
There’s some good stuff in their first batch of sets, but they’re unconnected for the most part. Some recurring characters, and one really good Jenny story which is referenced in the next batch of sets, Trespassers. The current one is a big arc!
I really enjoyed all the Paternoster boxes. I’ve said it before, they’re nothing revelatory, but they are very consistently fun through the whole range. And when they manage to get it just right, there are some very good stories in there too
