Wicked Sisters - A 'Graceless' Thread

In the flood and the fire,
In the heart of the sun,
We were lost, we were dying,
We have only begun,
And the rest of the song,
Remains to be sung,
So we’ll dance through the night,
And the dawn never comes,
Just the two of us.

Speaking as someone who reviewed this range in its entirety on the other site, there has never been anything quite like ‘Graceless’ before.

Two immortal sisters who only die when they choose to, dancing through the timelines and trying to do good… but ultimately bringing chaos to reality.

Everything is morally grey and mature in this range, and it’s a real triumph from Simon Guerrier.

Please share your favourite moments and stories in this thread.

And remember that pan-dimensional dragons sometimes reside in the sun!

This thread was inspired by the one @sircarolyn made for Bernice Summerfield.

I’m surprised not many people talk about this series as it’s severely underrated,
I listened to all four series and Wicked Sisters a couple of years ago, but series one, especially The Sphere is one I revisit quite often, and I have again since getting it on CD yesterday
I definitely recommend this to any fan of the more gritty, mature side of Doctor Who, Abby and Zara are introduced in The Key 2 Time Trilogy in the monthly range and then you’re free to dive into the series, the first three being free on Spotify

And The Worlds of Big Finish, which happens between Series 3 and 4, as far as I understand. No clue if it does though, still on Series 1 myself.

I had no idea The Worlds of Big Finish was on spotify, I’ll be listening to that later to finally finish of all the Graceless content
