Got it in 1. The Rebel Flesh/The Almost People is one of my favourite serials. So it was an easy get. It’s a distinct island for me.

Took me four.

One, after bemoaning the fact that it’s a Welsh Castle in the series that is 90% Welsh Castles

Got it in 2. Guessed the other half of the two parter at first.

Five guesses this time.

Series 6 & 7 are a bit of a blind spot for me

In 1. Sometimes I recognize an episode because I love it, but sometimes I recognize it because I hate it

Easy peasy today, got it in one

Got it in two. It was Caerphilly Castle, the question was just which episode with Caephilly Castle it was…

Got it in one. That castle is so familiar and this is a story I dread when rewatching that series. I don’t really like it!

Didn’t get the story till the last one and even then picked the wrong part. Who else guessed Heaven Sent for the first image? Just me? Okay…

You clearly haven’t seen Heaven Sent enough! That was a totally different castle! Go and watch it again!!

One castle looks the same as another when you’ve spent 45 minutes wandering around and around and around it punching a diamond wall and pretending you’re the best thing since sliced bread…

The long-running British television show Doctor Who chose Caerphilly Castle as a filming location for several episodes, including “The End of Time” in 2009, “The Vampires in Venice” in 2010, two parter “The Rebel Flesh” and “The Almost People” in 2011; “Robot of Sherwood" in 2014 and “Heaven Sent” in 2015. For “The End of Time”, producers used the residential quarters of the East Gatehouse, Constable’s Hall and Braose Gallery for the filming of a dungeon in the fictional Broadfell Prison.[82]

The guy sitting in front of me in the cinema said “Heaven sent was the best 45 mins of TV ever!”, and I agree
