I think I agree. 7 is the one Doctor who just doesn’t seem right without his hat (or rather, when he doesn’t have a hat, like in Ghost Light, we can tell shit’s about to go down haha)! 4’s hat is totally iconic, but I feel like he’s without it a lot more than 7.

To me it feels like if you look at a piece of art that depicts all the Doctors, Seven is always wearing it, with Four it’s kinda 50/50, sometimes he’s wearing it and sometimes he’s not, and with Five it’s usually not worn. It’s either not there at all, or he’s holding it against his torso.
Look, I love Peter’s luscious blonde mane as much as the next guy (and it’s not only because I’m also blonde) but come on. LET HIM WEAR THAT COOL ASS PANAMA HAT.

I have to agree. With Seven, the hat is essential part of his outfit. For all the others the hat is an optional extra. The Seventh Doctor just doesn’t look right without his hat. I’m glad that Sylvester was, briefly, able to bring it back for the TV Movie.

She wears them effortlessly. She’s a quirky whirlwind of brilliance. I love every incarnation of the Doctor, but Jodie’s Doctor has the ability to make me smile like no other. She’s definitely one of my favourites. Wish we’d seen her in more hats. She sparkles.
