The way that none of these except World Enough even come remotely near my favourites :sweat_smile: I don’t think I’m much one for Cybermen

IMO Genesis of the Cybermen and Sins of the Flesh for me EU wise! But TV it would defo be WEAT/TDF

Blimey. A very mixed bag. World Enough and Time is the best, but I don’t think it serves the Cybermen well in The Doctor Falls.

Rise of the Cybermen / The Age of Steel is probably the most consistent across both episodes, for me. But WEAT was a level higher, so I voted for that.

None of the revival Cybermen designs come close to the Mondasian Cybermen design from TDF for me, they’re just so much creepier, though I am strangely fond of the CyberMaster design.

World Enough And Time/The Doctor Falls easily. A masterpiece that should have been Peter Capaldi’s regeneration story instead of Twice Upon A Time.

I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again

RofC/AoS is a parallel world story that happens to have cybermen
AoG/D is a Torchwood/Dalek story that happens to have cybermen
The Next Doctor is a story about Jackson Lake that happens to have cybermen
Closing Time is a Craig story that happens to have cybermen
Nightmare In Silver sucks
DW/DiH is a Master story that happens to have cybermen
WEaT/TDF is a Master story story that happens to have cybermen
AotC/TTC is a Master story story that happens to have cybermen
PotD is a Master story story that happens to have cybermen

The best Cyberman story since the revival (not including BF) is Cyberwoman because pretty much all the others are either focused on something else, suck, or at least are sharing focus with something else

If we’re including EU though, it’s obviously Sins of the Flesh

Definitely agree with this.

I love World Enough and Time, and think the Cybermen stuff in that is brilliant, but it’s not really a proper Cybermen story.

Why have they not actually had a proper ‘Cybermen’ episode in the Revival?

The only one of those stories where the Cybermen don’t have to at least share the spotlight, if not get completely overshadowed, is Nightmare in Silver, and as said, that one sucks
