There’s also some on my ceiling, and a water imprint spans the entirety of my side of the room. Which some inspectors said was “just water naturally pushing into the wall, and nothing to worry about”

Don’t feel awkward about it. As someone who barely follows any sports (except for ice hockey during the world championships, especially every game between Finland and Sweden), I wouldn’t recognise our hockey or football stars either. It’s perfectly normal! Not everyone needs to follow sports!
