That’s the case with most things - other brands offer the same product, or close to it, as Apple, but with a much more reasonable price.

Yeah but it has much longer battery life than TWS and you can charge it while using. In my defence, it’s a useful feature when I’m on a 4-hour call with friends
When I was very sad, I bought 2 expensive Lego sets. I built one of them over 2 days whilst listening to The Box of Terrors and it was the happiest I’d been in months

Yeah, and I think that it is on a case-by-case basis. I would never switch computers because I don’t think that the specs are that important, but the UI is. However, headphones are another thing.

I hate to say it because I DO like Dave Stone’s writing when he’s being serious and emotional (mostly in a few Benny stories here and there), but a solid 75% of the time I simply do not like his writing style 
I find myself having to push through a lot of his short stories and books.

Nope sorry, if you’d actually tried AirPods you’d know there’s no replacement.
You can have them in, and play something on your phone, then play something on your Mac, then something on TV, all the while it switches instantly and seamlessly, and has 3D surround sound.
There’s nothing else in the market that can do that, it requires a proprietary chip Apple invented, not just Bluetooth!

Can’t do that even if I do use AirPods because I have everything you mentioned in different brands. It sounds so funny when I tried to list them 
- phone: Xiaomi
- laptop: HP
- pad: Apple
- watch: Samsung
- e-readers: Boox (and I have two)
- DAP: Hiby
Nothing matches because I chose them mainly because I like the UI

No they work fine with other brands, using BlueTooth, but the special features won’t work.
Apple is all about having an ecosystem of products that all work seamlessly together. It’s great once you’re fully in!

For example if someone calls or FaceTimes me, I can answer on my phone, my Mac, the HomePod speakers in my kitchen, my watch, or my television, whichever I feel like (and yes, FaceTiming on the television feels like you’re in the Jetsons or something).
It’s just great! And impossible to do if everything you own are all different brands.
