What Should You Watch/Read/Listen To Next?

Incidentally, since I watched Twice Upon a Time and The Daleks’ Master Plan, the next one up was a tie between The Abominable Snowmen, The Massacre, and The Wheel In Space.

I think watching The Massacre next makes the most sense, as it’s literally right after the one I just watched…

It’s a bit talky, but a really good one for Steven.

Thought I’d run a poll gain for after The Massacre, since a lot of people voted for things I’ve already watched.

  • The Abominable Snowman
  • The Wheel In Space
  • The Smugglers
  • The Space Pirates
  • The Savages

You might as well do The Savages now and then compare it with the animation next year

Still voting for The Smugglers. It deserves more love.

Looks like currently “Abominable Snowman”, then “The Wheel In Space”, and then a three way tie.I feel like that picks out my next two, at any rate. I could use some Troughton…

Well, did watch the Abominable Snowmen. Some white guys were pretending to be Tibetians, and the voices in their heads told them to do things like kill people…

Also watched The Wheel In Space, which was a fun base under siege story and great introduction for Zoe.

Not sure why it was eliminated so quickly in the elimination games, really.

Might as well put the pollup again for the three S’s.

Don’t know why I bother voting. You never listen to me…

Well, I’ve mostly gone with the most votes, other then swapping The Daleks’ Master Plan with Twice Upon a Time…

Well, Mr. Moderator! Don’t let the position get into your head. This is how democracy works; most votes wins

It’s your loss. You could have been enjoying a Cornish romp with pirates but you decided to watch a bunch of boring monks wandering round a silent monastry with some cuddly, silent monsters for six episodes.

Well, I mean, at the rate I’m going, I’ll probably have watched those pirates by Christmas anyways, no matter how the vote goes…

Realistically, I could probably watch all three serials in one day.

Correction: you could’ve watched a Cornish bore with forgettable pirates and a bad telesnap reconstruction, or a bunch of boring monks wandering round a silent monastry with some cuddly, silent monsters for six episodes, OR you could’ve gone for the hidden gem that is The Savages.

Or watched a story about Pirates in Space!!!

Sadly, it is not a good story. The title is one of the best in Who History!

Doctor Who has never done pirates well on TV. Prove me wrong :stuck_out_tongue_closed_eyes:

Has Doctor Who actually ever managed to make a really good Pirate story?

(Don’t say Doctor Who and the Pirates )
