Unless it features characters from the Whoniverse it’s more likely a candidate for AudioLog (when we get around to adding other series).

The Mercury Theatre on the Air?
Orson Welles’ classic radio drama series that the legendary War of the Worlds broadcast was part of.
They are legally released on CD: Amazon.co.uk
The history of radio dramas is kind of endless, but War of the Worlds I think is definitely worth including with how influential it is on Big Finish style audio dramas.

Not sure if this would count for the log, but NPR (National Public Radio) did great radio adaptations of the Hobbit and Lord of the Rings in 1979. I’m not sure how they compare to the BBC ones, but I listened to them dozens of times. I still have the cassettes.

I really would recommend the McLevy audio plays published by the BBC, most are on BBC sounds for free I think. Brian Cox and Siobhan Redmond in a historical Scottish crime story set in Leith, Edinburgh. They are cracking stories and I think have over 10 series? Would be nice to track them
