I think my choices may seem unusual, but here they are:
9 - Christopher Eccleston would certainly not return (I agree with everyone on this matter), but I would actually choose the Bad Wolf/Parting of the Ways. I think it would be really interesting to hear Rose discuss it with her mother. I like the story itself, it’s long enough and I would enjoy Rose talking about Ninth Doctor specifically because I feel that their dynamic was a lot more interesting than Ten/Rose (I’m not against Doctor having a love interest, but they were so arrogant). Ninth Doctor is the Doctor who seem a lot more mysterious and even rude (definently most ‘alien’ out of modern Doctors), so Rose opening up about her impression of this strange person who just took her travelling while also not being able to articulate his feelings for her… I just think it would make an interesting conversation between her and her mother in the minisode itself, and the absence of Christopher Eccleston could also allude to the fact that Rose never truly get to know Nine imo
10 - okay I’ll try to be short this time and just say Human Nature/The Family of Blood… Really captures the spirit of Tenth Doctor, who is simultaneously very ‘human’ and a little more ruthless than other Doctors
11 - The Day of the Doctor… The most profound and epic story of 11’s run and a great celebration of the show. It would certainly be like Three Doctors in the actual TOTT, and also can be done without any of the Doctors actually returning… A nice little chat between Clara and Kate about that one time when the Doctor finally forgave themselves
12 - Face the Raven/Heaven Sent/Hell Bent I like this trilogy (even Hell Bent)
13 - what if… Not a two-parter… But two stories that can be thematically connected? Probably my weirdest choice yeat, but The Woman Who Fell to Earth/It Takes You Away. The second episode is my favourite from series 11, and I love the first episode (I remember watching it in cinema and having a total blast with fellow Whovians). Although not including Thasmin feels criminal especially since I actually think Yasmin… well… deserved Doctor’s love more than Rose lol. Maybe Eve of the Daleks?
14 - there is not much choice i guess, but The Giggle feels most celebratory
15 - I think episode which I would put in TOTT hasn’t been released yet… I do think it should be something from the next season (or hopefully two seasons because Ncuti imo should get at least two more seasons, he’s too good of a Doctor)
