What forum colours do you use?

A silly thread that occurs to me whenever people screenshot their badges.

I’ve had it set on Dracula for ages (a nice purple and very very dark grey affair).

But I’m thinking of having a change and trying out Solarized Dark (some lovely shades of blue).

What colour scheme do you prefer on the forum?

Are there other colours than the TARDIS blue?

I had no idea this was an option, I’ve just been using the default

Looking through them all though, I think most of them look pretty bad, I like Dracula and Dark, but they’re pretty close to other things I use (Discord and dark mode twitter), and I like to keep my sites looking different so I can tell at a very quick glance what I’m on, so just going to stay with the default (plus, can never go wrong with TARDIS blue)

Just the original!

Although if the new website is anything to go by, soon purple will be the new blue :eyes:

Maybe I need a poll whether or not to change the colour of the new website

This will be my Big Finish Website Redesign Disaster Phase

The logo looks bad in most:

Shades of Blue

Solarized Light

WCAG Light

Shades isn’t as bad as the other two, and the others look fine, but the default does just look best

Was going to say, if I had to change it, it’d be to a purple lmao

Yeah the logo is so difficult to work with :sob:

To be fair I think it’s the outline more than anything (other than the WCAG where the logo disappears), if the outline changed with theme as well they’d look fine, not my personal taste but ye

Unfortunately you can’t upload different icons for different themes.

(The themes weren’t done by me, just a default thing)

Just the default. I found out there’s even an option long after I got used to the default, so…

I did not know you could change it! I probably wouldn’t anyway, I tend to like the default mode. I can’t stand some dark modes that are incredibly low contrast between the text and the background, I find them so hard to read

There are options?!

No!

Are you sure about this? It sounds like a risky move! Do you have your written apology ready once we begin rioting?

As I seem to be the only person aware of this function (spend way too much on here), it’s under preferences when you go to your profile - and then it’s under ‘interface’.

I changed my theme now! I rather like the WCAG Dark theme!

Standard ‘Dark’ mode. I can’t do pure black background with white text. My eyesight isn’t what it once was, and pure black with pure white text blurs for me. I prefer the dark grey with white text. Easier on the eyes for me.

I’ve got it on Dark. Solarized would probably be second choice. (I’d prefer somewhere in between Solarized and Dark on the background…)

I didn’t realize before now you could change it, but I put it on solarized dark now. I prefer dark mode but I can’t have it with too strong contrast, so this is pretty good

My first thought to two of those was “Scherzo-core”
