It is one of my favourites. Did you enjoy it?
Me and my wife finished The Doctors Daughter and started Unicorn and the Wasp. This season is really amazing. The best is still to come
Series 4 really is RTD’s finest.
Season 2 looks like it’s going to be on the same level as that series, which makes me very excited.
Series 1 and Series 3 > Series 4
Only watched the first two parts so far but really liking it! I love that it’s wearing its 1984 inspirations on its sleeves, and seeing 2 drop the clown act earlier than usual is a delight. I’m excited to finish it hopefully tomorrow!
Why do you keep watching half an episode and then stopping? Are you creating your own cliffhangers. Do you suddenly stop the episode at a tense bit and sing the theme tune to your wife?
Rewatched The Waters of Mars tonight as it’s getting so much love on the Elimination Game. It’s far darker than I remember, with The Doctor watching on knowing people have to die. This must happen a lot to time travellers but is rarely covered. The heart of the whole piece is the evolving relationship between The Doctor and Adelaide which, I felt, David Tennant and Lindsay Duncan did so well. I think the whole piece resonated differently as my Mum died a couple of years ago, so my brain was more tuned into the loss this time and less the ‘monster of the week’ threat.
Easy answer. My wife gets tired and wants to go to bed.
Sleep is for tortoises
Are you calling @Tian 's wife a sköldpadda?
No, of course not. I would never.
I’ve been rewatching Torchwood.
I’ve always held that I like the first two seasons way more than the season-long stories, and that’s probably still true, but I’m halfway through Mirac (yeah, 5 letters, that’s halfway), and finding it really engaging, despite being quite grisly (not my favorite thing about Torchwood).
Miracle Day is so much better than people give it credit for.
Interesting, I’ve usually held that COE is the only truly good season.
Finally, a TW opinion we agree on!
I like both s03 and s04. I just have a hard time with the first two seasons.
I mean, she might be? Is there anything wrong with that?
I was going to ask the exact same thing lol
Just watch a whole episode in a day, rather than two halves
They really want that Classic Who experience with three cliffhangers per story
The good thing is that we need to keep watching the next because we don’t finish the episode. Meaning that it is a Who trap
