I will start the Wooden Heart for tomorrow’s book club today.
Thanks for reminding me! I have to get that one started as well.
Are there any prerequisites to the Noodle Man book?
I know nothing about the cactus person or anything it spun off from…
If not, I might give it a read, as it’s short.
I don’t think so?
There’s universe-hopping but the story itself is about meta-characters and making fun of franchises.
This sounds amazing!!!
Yes yes yes yes! Please give us a review when you’re finished!
Just finished Death in the Stars. Put my thoughts into a review…
(Review of Death in the Stars: A Melanie Bush Mystery by kevinwho · TARDIS Guide)
I read a The K9 Adventures adventure. Analyzed it totally seriously. Review of K9 and the Time Trap by Owen · TARDIS Guide
Not reading yet, but I’ve ordered Twice Upon a Time, The Good Doctor, Combat Magicks, and Molten Heart, so waiting with excitement for those to arrive!
Just a few pages left on ‘Revolution Man’ (EDA #21). I’m starting to think K9 is not gonna show up at all…
How… why.. this is saddening, even depressing!!
(Hope you enjoy the EDA!!)
No K9
And wow, this book was pretty bleak. No one was having a good time at all. Maybe that’s why K9 wasn’t there.
But was it good? (Even without a K9 in it!)
On the matter of K9, to celebrate this Day I decided to finally read those 4 short K9 Adventure Books, as well as the rest of the Annual Stories . I am surprised that I found the K9 Adventure Books mostly fine - solid with the first one being the best easily!
Can’t comment much on the K9 Annual Stories, their Quality is very much similar to the older Annuals from the Classic Series, which at times ranges from big misses and a few small decent ones.
Now reading the Bodysnatchers
I quite enjoyed The Bodysnatchers but a lot of people seem to dislike it. It was an enjoyable, if not amazing adventure.
I liked The Bodysnatchers too.
It was fine, nothing outstanding, but not terrible. It’s a solid story. I just had more fun with Vampire Science, War of the Daleks and Alien Bodies.
The Myriapod Mutiny as part of my 13th Doctor marathon. And then I’ll finally start reading Wooden Heart for the Book Club.
If you have Origin Stories, I highly recommend reading the whole book. Except Chemistry, that’s coming up later in the marathon…
