Switched from Iris to Build High for Happiness, a Paradise Towers anthology Obverse did. Really enjoyed the second story and even did a little review for it

Finished Indiana Jones and the Secret of the Sphinx by Max McCoy last night. It was a fun Indiana Jones adventure that travels from China, to India, to Egypt. And then, after the main adventure is over, adds a weird little coda with a crystal skull (not alien)[1], and some weird time travel. That said, I still had fun with it (memories of reading this in my early teens returned) and it was a quick read.

Next up: The Church on Ruby Road and then 73 Yards.

  1. this was published in 1999, so almost ten years before the fourth Indy film ↩︎

I think I will (for the time, at least), try to switch between the VNAs/PDAs & EDAs.
Started to read Longest Day for the EDAs recently, doesn’t seem like a very liked book, but I am not far enough with it yet to fully judge it.
Been continuing to read Salvation for the PDA, while I am much further with it, I am not quite sure what to think.

Oh, and recently started the first Page of this very little unknown Book called Lungbarrow, very curious to see why nobody talks about that one!

Is this a novel? I’ve never heard of it despite being an Indy fan.

Yeah. Apparently there were a bunch of these. Secret of the Sphinx was the last. I vaguely remember my library having some at one point though the only two I read were Secret of the Sphinx and 1995’s Indiana Jones and the Dinosaur Eggs. I think I only read these two because they were on topics I was heavily interested in at the time (Dinosaurs and Ancient Egypt).

According to Goodreads, they’re part of an “Indiana Jones Prequels” series with 12 written between 1991 and 1999, and a thirteenth written in 2009. Indiana Jones: Prequels Series by Rob MacGregor

Interesting. I have to check these out and see if I can track them down. Always down for some more Indy in my life!

Where is the IndianaJones.Guide?

Could be Disney Guide for Star Wars, Indy, Marvel and all Disney films

That is a big guide by itself. There are over 30,000 issues on Marvel Unlimited, and that is not all.

And we complain DW is a big franchise :joy:

Since the the first 8 doctors are canon to Marvel, should we add all of Marvel that had released at that point to the Guide?

I think if we ever asked for that, shauny would just vanish into thin air, and we would never hear from him again :sob:

That is also a crazy opening for even more crossovers. There are some Marvel vs DC comics, meaning that all of DC should also be added.

Finished Lucifer Rising. Not the best VNA but also far from the worst. I quite liked it, actually, even if it dragged a little.

Next up is the Twelfth Doctor: Year Three comics.

Just finished Storybook 2010. I must say, the quality was consistent across the 4 years of these releases, and they are lovely books. Sad to reach the end. But I’ve got 4 other books waiting on the shelf and more to come, so time to get a move on and start the next one…

I just finished “The Witchfinders” :slightly_smiling_face:

Loved it!
So well-written and adds beautifully to the televised episode :+1:

I ended up giving it a 4,5/5 :star:

I’ve already read it a while ago, but have somehow forgotten where the 13th Doctor fits into the story. So here I go again with “The Ruby’s Curse” by Alex Kingston/Jacqueline Rayner :slightly_smiling_face:
