Not that busy. The listening is only done when I’m doing other things, today it was chores around the house. The reading is mostly done at night while lying in bed. It’s been about three days between readings on Ruby Red with the first section read on the 19th and the second section read last night. Plus, there’s been time between watching various episodes of the TV show. It’s been a week since I last watched an episode of Torchwood.

Started Kursaal (EDA #7) today. I hear it sucks. Here’s hoping it’s in a “this is stupid haha” way rather than in a “just really plain bad” way

I just finished Happy Endings. I decided to just jump right into it after all, and only go back to read the previous ones if I got too confused, but that didn’t happen. It’s a really entertaining book. Like there’s not much plot but all the characters are really fun, especially Benny (must get around to doing more of her stories). You’ll probably get more out of their depictions here if you know them already, but every major character is sufficiently introduced that I had fun. Really enjoyed it, made me laugh in several places.

Just finished Torchwood: Slow Decay, a decent story, reminding me a lot of the 2024 film The Substance in a good way, but also somewhat lacking some substance ironically
Moving onto the EDA War of the Daleks tonight, a little apprehensive as I’ve not heard great things but we’ll see

I found it to be tremendously boring - the only EDA I’ve had to dnf. You might fare better though, there are some voices in favour around here

Finished Doctor Who and the Cybermen (Moonbase novelisation) today. It’s well written, I liked it and I feel like the Cybermen work better in written form here than in the tv story.

I been reading the first nine chapters of the “Prisoners of Time” comic today. It’s a really good read so far.
I did not see that coming in chapter 9!

Finished ‘Kursaal’! Not great, not terrible! Definitely not as bad as I feared; I enjoyed it just fine. Ebook was pretty badly formatted though, which was quite annoying.
