What are you currently reading?

Could be kind of fun to do such a deep dive
(Also because I lost my last Who project )

But, wow by looking around a bit that looks like quite the task…
I just go search around if someone has done the “legwork” on Reddit or the like :slightly_smiling_face:

I read the Second Doctor story, The Nameless City, from 15D,15S.

Much better than the first story!

I read Goth Opera today, and I really enjoyed it! I’m a big fan of vampires, even though I haven’t actually read/listened to/watched many vampire stories, and I really liked how this story presented them. The characterization of our TARDIS team is on point, and Nyssa slowly turning into a vampire was excellent. I also think this has some very interesting explorations on faith. And interesting Gallifrey lore!

I’ve started The Last Resort and… I don’t want to say it’s just the Time Hotel, but it’s not not the Time Hotel. Is this about to be another one of those things that the books did first and better?

Having just finished Divided Loyalties and reached the part where The Toymaker makes a literal jigsaw out of The Doctor, wondering if the mention of that in The Giggle was an Easter Egg to this novel, I sympathize with this feeling.

Fifteen Doctors, 15 Stories is really picking up now! The Spear of Destiny was rather good, as was The Roots of Evil.

I finished Ruby Red. I really enjoyed Georgia Cook’s writing.

Also read Tip of the Tongue from 15D,15S, which was a very interesting read.

Read a chunk more of Mission: Impractical yesterday. I’m determined to finish it this week. I also caught up on (and finished!) Terror Moon. I’ve been underwhelmed by both of the Capaldi ones.

I finished The Pit, I’ll write mroe about it in the Club thread.

I’ll take a littel brek from DW novels now as I’ll read the Cosmere novella Shadows for Silence in the Forests of Hell followed by Dungeon Crawler Carl.

Just read the Sixth Doctor story from 15 Stories, Something Borrowed.

I then decided to read @MrColdStream’s review of the story afterwards, which was a masterpiece in how to have the completely opposite thoughts to the ones I have on the story.

Thanks, I guess :joy:

Just finished the second “Team TARDIS Diaries”, “Ghost Town”.

This, and Paper Moon, are two short and cute children’s books.
The premise with the diary and the shifting first person narrators is a good one, and I am kind of bummed that these two were the only ones written in that series (and they clearly intended for at least a third book).
The Fam is written really well, if a bit simplistic - but hey, children’s book :slightly_smiling_face:

I gave this one a 3,5/5 :star: and “Paper Moon” a 4/5 :star:

I want to know what was up with that Nimon statue

Thirteenth Doctor Character Tracker at 83 % now :slightly_smiling_face:
