Finished Torchwood First Born. Really loved it at first and then the main plot happened…it was alright… Could’ve been better imo.

Left a bit disappointed tbh. Hoping some of the others are better =)

(Also noticed a bit of an inconsistency; Ianto is credited as being a character in the story, but only shows up in small dream sequences. This is directly opposed to Army of One which features Tosh, Owen, and Ianto in a dream sequence, where none of them are credited on the site. Some clarification would be nice but I suggested an edit anyways)

I just started the City of Death novelization (even though I’ve never watched the episode), and it’s pretty good so far!

I love the Missy Chronicles; I just love seeing Missy be herself lol.

Reading Alien Bodies Currently and about to also start Timewyrm: Genesis (wish me luck for that one; I just want to read the VNAs in order). I’m enjoying Alien Bodies so far, but haven’t gotten very far in it yet.

Good luck on Genesys. I unfortunately can’t say it’s reputation is unearned. Alien Bodies on the other hand is great

Just started on the Engines of War.
I heard it was really great

Actually we have a thread for Genesys if you want to share your thoughts, here Book Club: Timewyrm: Genesys

Finished Confronting the Presidents, a very enjoyable look at all the American Presidents, and am about a third of the way through The Stealers of Dreams. The other two NSAs I’m sending back because I just haven’t gotten to them in time. Instead, I’ve some books I actually own that I want to read (namely The Hardy Boys series and finishing the New Jedi Order), plus any other ILLs that happen to appear.

Love Alien Bodies, it’s utterly mental.

In reference to Timewyrm: Genesys, all I can say about that one is that they’re not all like that.

Enjoy the VNAs!

Started the first few pages from Autumm Mist, pretty close at finishing Birthright, I think I probably finish it today and same goes for my next NSA Only Human. Still working my way through the Big Finish Prose Short Trips, lovely ride, even if it has some major misses (but also some major wins!)
Will probably start the 15 NSA Books soon, considering their Run is just 5 Books and I would love to finally discuss them on the Forum! :tada:

I did like Timewyrm: Apocalypse quite a bit, it was the first good vna imo even though the vast majority of the rest of the series far outstripped it.

Thank you for wishing me luck for my poor choices lmao

Thank you! I have read Love and War and listened to some of the Human Nature audiobook so I know there are good ones. I just have to get through the worst one first lol.

Theatre of War which introduces some guy called Brax is pretty good as well

Hmmm I don’t know if @brax_iatel would like Brax though  /j

This might sound weird, but if anyone has the text version of the DW book RUBY RED could you send me a screenshot or picture of the final page of Chapter 19 or whatever the next to last chapter is in the book?

My audiobook version from audible sounds like it’s getting cut off from at the very end of that chapter and I just want to know if I’m missing anything?

Edit: It is the complete chapter and a complete experience! We all good! :tada:

Well I went ahead and finished the book. Hopefully I didn’t miss anything, it was probably just an awkward cut in the edit. But I did enjoy RUBY RED and if you listen to the audiobook version it’s read by Millie Gibson so you get an extra performance by Gibson playing Ruby for this story. Which is fun.

Just finished the audiobook of “The Price of Paradise”.

I thought the first half was rather good and set up an exciting premise, but the second half did not deliver…
That was dull…

2/5 :star:
