Just finished The Day of the Doctor novelisation. It was brilliant , I loved it more than the TV episode itself

I’ve been thinking about it quite a bit recently and I think I might start reading the 8th Doctor run of comics from Doctor Who Magazine, as I’ve heard some truly incredible stuff about them.
God knows I can’t afford it though (seriously, the prices online for Endgame are insane) so I’ll be reading them through Internet Archive, where they’re all uploaded.
I don’t really want to write full reviews for them so I’ll probably just upload my thoughts on here every time I finish one.

Ok, so in the end I wrote a review and I’m a little worried this format might not work with me.
I’ve not read a lot of comics in my time so I don’t know if I’m just unfamiliar with it but this felt rushed to me, like a whole episode of TV compressed into thirty pages.
It was good fun though, excited to read the rest.

You are making the correct Choice hope you enjoy them! (I will also say the Run takes a bit to get really going, the first one is certainly one of its weaker Outings, so hopefully the others get you!)

Where are you even finding that? I haven’t been able to find copies of Endgame or The Flood to purchase at all, at any price

There are a couple copies of Endgame on eBay for well over £100.
Looking around, it seems like there’s a copy of The Flood also on eBay for £32, but maybe that’s just good timing.

Just finished reading the last of the DWM Brief Encounters stories 
Such a good one to end on 
And it just casually provides us with Susan’s Gallifreyan name 
It’s Arkytior which means Rose in High Gallifreyan

finished listening to Fear Death by Water. great fun, one of the best entries into 15’s stories. Now listening to Spectral Scream and I am having loads of fun and enjoying so much how Belinda is being handled.

Read The Keep today.
Definitely a step up from Endgame in my opinion, though not by much. The pacing, tone and scope all improved greatly but just as I was getting into it, it ended.
Real shame but this does feel promising as to the quality of the rest of these comics.
