Finished Day of the Master Part 1.
WHAT. WAS. THAT. ENDING???!!
oh to listen to this for the first time again.. I was so shocked!!
Listened to Gobbleknoll Hall, a really bonkers ghost story
Finished Day of the Master Part 2. Talk about ending on a high!
Started Project: Twilight. Six was not just singing the Zagreus rhyme
Currently listening to “The Last” trying to finish up the Divergent Universe. It’s been interesting so far. I’m only halfway through this story, but I like it so far for the most part. Definitely depends on where it’s going.
Vampires! That was a cool twist I wasn’t expecting
…
I haven’t listened anything today
Just finished the third Story of the first fugitive Doctor Set, that was certainly an interesting one, not sure how I feel about it but hey more Jo Martin can’t be a bad Thing!
Slight spoiler for that Story.
Especially when we get the Two of her!
Finished Grandfather Time (good, I love the War Doctor and Carley goes really well with Susan) and made a start on Planet Krynoid.
Only the first episode so far but it’s very, very strong so far.
Starting Stranded
Finished Dark Eyes 3 and Rule of the Eminence annoys me. I might write a review later tbh
tldr is I love the characters and the character writing, and I think the first half is super strong as is the farewell scene at the end. But the second half imo is an utter rushed mess with everything resolving too swiftly and too easily. (Plus I really have never cared about The Eminence as a baddie) It honestly should have been a two-parter to give everything more room to breathe and develop, because there’s loads of good ideas here
3 star because what I like I really like but it’s soooo close to going down to 2.5 and might by the time I’ve written my review
In Silver Mist, a non-DW BBC4 radio play Colin did in 1983. I’ve listened to this years ago and, for a mystery, I really enjoyed it. I love this man’s voice so much, and I love how his character in this is a composer from the early 1900s.
Ooh, might check that out – love radio drama and love mysteries.
Here’s the link on the Internet Archive. Let me know if/when you listen to it!
Starting Gallifrey 6.2: Renaissance.
Enjoy Lady Trey
Once again demonstrating I have no patience: I promised myself I wouldn’t listen to any more of Benny’s audios until I was done with her books, but I was feeling sad and she always cheers me up so…
Given the headspace I’m in, I brought music for the commute today, but actually managed The Bounty of Ceres this morning and enjoyed it.
Started Vortex Ice on the way home. Not bad so far.
