TARDIS Guide 2.0 has been released!
This new version is not just a fresh new design, but includes many improvements to the experience, plus is a bold new step for the future of the site!
Here are just some of the new features:
Fresh New Design
The website is more slick and modern, easier to navigate, and nicer to look at!
Themes
By default the site uses a new theme called Nebula Dark. We also have Nebula Light if you prefer to read dark text on a light background, or Space Black for even darker, and fewer distractions.
Themes can be chosen under “My Account → Customisation”, and there are more on the way!
Better search
Press CMD-K (or CTRL-K) at any time on the website to invoke the new search popup, which allows you to quickly jump to another section. The search also now includes Sets!
(If you preferred to have a search box in the header, you can switch back in “My Account → Customisation”!)
Customise Homepage
You can now customise your homepage - add sections, and re-order them - so the website works best for you!
Customise Filters
You can more easily customise which filters display on certain pages, as well as re-ordering them!
Filters are easier to use
No more scrolling through long lists of companions - you can now type to search in most filters to quickly find what you’re looking for!
Also the Date filter now has presets, so you can choose to only show stories from the Classic Era, the Wilderness Years, Revival Era, or Modern Era!
Skip Stories
Everybody now has access to the Skip Stories feature which allows you to skip a story and never get recommended it again. Useful for stories you are not interested in. You can also bulk skip entire sets!
More Actions button
Now when viewing a story card you are no longer limited to rating and favoriting - the More Actions button lets you perform loads of actions on the story, saving you clicks.
Review sorting
When viewing a long list of reviews for a story, you can now sort them by date, username, rating, number of likes, spoilers!
Keep track of which reviews you’ve read
We now keep track of which reviews you have read - and have a little indicator on them. This is useful if you’re revising a story, plus we have more plans for this in the future…
Actor Details
We now show the actor names against characters, and show if this is their first appearance. Please bear with us as we collate all this information.
There’s lots more little details that I’ve probably forgotten to write about, so go and have a play!
