UNIT: Eras: Hostile Universe – Available 29/04!,
So I’d quite like to listen to this one on release day, but (so we don’t have a Zygon Century situation on our hands) are there any prerequisites I need to do, before Wednesday?
I plan on rewatching the series 4 Sontaran 2-parter (because I don’t remember Colonel Mace), but I’m familiar with the Brig, Harry, Kate and Osgood, Sarah, Mel and the Vlinx.
Maybe a rewatch of the Brig’s Sarah Jane 2-parter?
Anything else I’m missing?
SO excited for this. The updated theme tune of the UNIT TNS theme is just amazing, the original was already good but this just is heightened. I’m excited for the post Flux pre RTD2 Kate story it’s a gap worth exploring.

I’m lowkey so stupid bc I keep seeing the summary for the ‘dawn of UNIT’ and going ah yes! Allison will be there :) even though I know full well Allison will not be there. I will take a reference… just a reference…
But I’d adore if this is a hit and the next set gets us another Bambera Rix Savarin story AND an Allison Ian pre-UNIT story. That would be dream come true for me
Curious if indigo child will have the grand serpent. I actually really liked him as a character. (Idk if he appears in any other EU but I wish he came back or another of his people but overall I really did like the performance in flux)
Also i haven’t heard Sadie Miller’s SJS yet[1] so excited to hear how that is

I’m wondering if there will be a storyline throughout the set, or if I could just skip to episode 2, then come back to episode 1 later, once I’m caught up on NewWho series 4.

I very much doubt there’ll be any connections or arcs BF tend to shy away from that these days especially in anthology releases like this one. I’m debating doing the post Flux pre RTD2 one first as it’s my most hyped one!
