I read Horrible Histories but never watched it or Ghosts no
For shame, everyone’s first crush was Mat Baynton in guyliner
Rectify this immediately.
Watched & enjoyed the first 2 episodes of Carême, a new French decadent historical drama about real life chef, Antonin Carême, set during the Napoleonic-era. Lots of political intrique, great food & eroticism.
Benjamin Voisin is good in the lead role, looking a bit anacronistic but it works. These first couple episodes are directed by Martin Bourboulon, he recently directed the two Musketeers movies & this looks great as viewers of those movies would expect. It’s on Apple TV.
I really want to watch this, not just for the pretty guy I promise…
Apple shows that I’ve done have always been incredible (not you Ted Lasso s3) so I’m sure I’ll love it!
Press X to doubt
Just finished Severance season 2 and that finale makes me feel like someone took a drill to my head [Affectionate]
I really need to get back to it, I’ve only gotten to episode 3 (after binging the first season in like 2 days)
Why must all the good shows be on a streaming platform i can’t access
I get it! I binged the first season in a week and it took me a month to watch season 2. Not even cause season 2 is worse - I just haven’t been as focused or had the time lol
I might rewatch Skins at some point, it probably has one of the best villain lines in all of TV imo, it’s also cool to see how many careers it launched too (Dev Patel, Daniel Kaluuya, Kaya Scodalario, Nicholas Hoult)
Plus it has an absolutely mental guest cast of British comedians
I could gush about Skins for ages haha
Just watched the first episode of Tinker Tailor Soldier Spy. What absolutely classic television!
Fan fact: the Czechoslovakia scenes in the first episode were shot in and around Glasgow
I have nver seen it
It’s very good. And still holds up — absolutely gripping.
Always been a show I’ve wanted to watch. I saw the movie with Gary Oldman.
Currently watching episode one of One Piece
AKA Japanese Doctor Who /j
One Piece isn’t American, is it?
Had the netflix live action version in my head
