I was talking a bit with @sircarolyn about how we did not enjoy having Torchwood as the only modern TV in the TV-Club. I think it would be a good idea to have spin-offs as a TV-Club extra that run alongside the seasons that aired the same year. We could do both TW S02 and SJA 01 before the DW S03 finale if we do them on another day. This would make the finales line up and also have the TV Club focusing on Doctor Who. What do you guys think?

I agree with this, I think the TV club should focus on Doctor Who, and the spin-offs can be extras 
I’d love it if they all lined up so The Stolen Earth rewatch happens after we are at the right place in Torchwood and SJA so we get to relive the greatest TV crossover event ever.

What @Tian said. I’m not that interested in Torchwood and I’ve missed having main DW to talk about. It seems like doing a TV Club extra like we do with the audios would be a great idea

I agree. We could also do them each week maybe, so also when we’re doing classic who on main TV club, that would make it less crowded in a week maybe? But I do think our main tv club is better when it focuses on doctor who itself

I’ve enjoyed having the Torchwood threads and it’s actually the only one I’m actually rewatching right now because it’s been a long time since I did them (whereas Doctor Who I’m rewatching all the time), so I appreciate having them.
But yeah I think we should prioritise DW.

Yeah, would be better to have both modern Doctor Who and the spinoffs. Only reason I posted in the Torchwood threads was because I finally watched season 1, but I’ve generally watched a lot less of the spinoffs, whereas modern Doctor Who, I’m guaranteed to have watched basically anything, whether I actually rewatch it or not.
