Just finished Episode 5: Small Worlds. This is one that I actually remember fairly well from my original viewing. And, after watching it again, that was really good, dark with more mature themes, but not overly graphic (either in sex or violence). It feels like an episode of X-Files. The creature design was good and the acting was really good in this. I like that we’re starting to dig into Jack’s past (post-Doctor Who) here. While all five regulars were in this, I feel like this was a primarily Jack and Gwen episode. We need a Tosh-focused episode now to round out the regular cast (yes, I know there’s one coming up). I don’t really have anything else to say. This was really, really good and there’s nothing to really complain about or nitpick. Maybe, that the Mara was only namedropped? Anyway, I think that’s it. Next up, Countrycide.
