Having been through and added a bunch of tropes to The Curse of Peladon, I’ve thought of a couple more linked to the story:
Dodgy parking - stories where the TARDIS lands in a precarious position like the cliff in this story, the edge of a ravine in The Romans or with the door against a wall in Fear Her.
Posing as an official (can’t think of a better title at the moment) - stories where the Doctor poses as someone in a position of authority - ooh, maybe Authority Figure for the title - stories like this one where he pretends to be the Earth delegate or Power of the Daleks where he takes on the role of Examiner.
By Royal Command - stories where the Doctor interacts with the reigning monarch - Peladon, Queen Thalira, The Day of the Doctor (Elizabeth I), The Marian Conspiracy (Mary I), The Witchfinders (James I), The Crusade (Richard I).
Alien Delegates - Curse and Monster, The Daleks Master Plan, The End of the World, quite a few of the early Gallifrey stories.
(I did look through the master list and don’t think these ones are covered, but happy to be corrected.)
I also want to rename “No TARDIS” because my intention with that is for stories where the Doctor lands somewhere in the TARDIS but then gets separated from it and can’t get back.
But “No TARDIS” suggests the TARDIS is absent from the story.
Well, there’s more staff then just delta and shauny…
I feel like it’d be better as a set then a trope, though. And it might be more fun if each staff member had their own picks, then a staff picks that was the best of those.
I have been thinking that it would be nice with something like “The Tardis Guides Clubs Seal of Approval” that could be given to every story that get more than 8.5 in the club rating.
