You might be correct. I completed everything except the live events and games, so can’t say for sure.
Finally returning to TLV with The Enemy of My Enemy.
Not as good as the previous 8 audio, but it wasn’t bad, although I was kind of put off by the sheer amount of Dalek voices throughout.
Once again, it is interesting to see how time is affected by 10’s meddling, and how 8 reacts to it and works things out.
trouble with this multimedia event is i just can’t bring myself to listen to an audiobook, audiodramas i love but audiobooks are not for me. it makes it tricky as a completionist though!
Luckily there’s only one audiobook in this range (well, three if you count the Short Trips), and it’s only 73 minutes.
The books are not available as audiobooks. You have to read em.
aren’t there exclusive audiobooks that arent books? at least there was in dooms day which i found annoying as i wanted to consume it all (i did bar the audiobooks).
I think that it depends on what you call an audiobook. If it is a story read by one person then I think it might be.
apparently there was only one, thought there were more for TLV! Dooms Day defo had more than one.
Oh yeah forgot about that one. Dooms day has 4 but they are a bit shorter.
Listened to Master Thief, which is probably my favourite TLV story so far.
Next up: Monstrous Beauty
Oh I liked “Monstrous Beauty”
Finished Monstrous Beauty! Always interesting seeing ancient Gallifreyan civilization, and the story was nice enough, but it obviously suffers from being a DWM comic and therefore being on the shorter side.
Now just the T-shirt before All flesh is Grass (or the first 3 chapters, anyway)
Three chapters in to All Flesh is Grass.
Feels a bit anticlimactic, to be honest. I do have the rest of the book to go, but if that’s the end of 10 being the Time Lord Victorious, I’m underwhelmed. The interactions between the Doctors was well written at least.
Tales from the Dark Times
1/10
I’m very glad those were uploaded to YouTube, because I would have been livid if I’d paid for them.
Yeah, it is not great…
Yeah, not much to say about them
Finished The Minds of Magnox.
Not bad, the coda was easily the highlight. I’m convinced Jacob Dudman is just a pseudonym for Matt Smith at this point
I’ll be on that poster in no time!
I must say, I had thought “Kotturuh” was pronounced completely differently to how this story presented, but oh well
Mission to the Known and the remainder of All Flesh is Grass.
Mission to the Known is too good a title to have been used there, but I digress.
The Eaglemoss story spoiling the reveal in AFiG is annoying, but I enjoyed the book, even if it wasn’t what I was expecting. The 8/9/10 interactions were nice, especially around Gallifrey, but I can’t help but feel the whole event could have been the 8 audios, Monstrous Beauty, and the two novels, and we wouldn’t have lost out on much.
Mutually Assured Destruction
Easily the weakest of the 8 audios. Middling, and not much more. I’m very burned out on Nick Briggs talking to himself.
Next up, an Eaglemoss story and (finally) the second part of Echoes of Extinction.
You’re getting there! You’re soon Victorious as well!
