Thirteenth Doctor Episodes Bracket Tournament

You don’t like him?

But… But Ribbons…

Which is the other one?

Romana outfits. I think I’ll wait for that one to finish, just so we don’t have any oversaturation with these tournaments. I wouldn’t want to make yours or Snakes’s less fun by possibly inundating people with bracket tournaments, especially with its size of 37. A max of two at once sounds like a good balance.

Not really, find him rather annoying and quite tonally dissonant from the rest of the story. I don’t think he was necessary.

lmfao poor praxeus going up against fugitive right out of the gate

I like all four episodes, but ‘Fugitive’ and ‘ITYA’ have slightly more of my Thirteen love.

I’m predicting a Fugitive v Punjab final

Hoping Fugitive of the Judoon goes all the way, gotta be my favourite new who story out there

This one was hard for me because Flux as a whole is absolutely my favorite 13 story but it’s hard to really rate individual episodes, and ITYA is an all-time great.

First Round was easy, I really like Fugitive, second one less so.. I love War, but It takes you away just hits a bit more to me, it’s sooo good. One of the best Revival Episodes ever

You’re so evil for that second match.

Fugitive and ITYA. Fugitive is one of my favorite series 12 episodes and ITYA is great.

It Takes You Away is definitely getting fired up and watched tonight. I remember it being a fairly sublime piece of new-weird that slots perfectly in the era. I also sit on the small life-boat of people who think that 13 fumbling her way through Graham’s cancer recurring is, while an unpleasant moment, not at all out of character for The Doctor that 13 is (or perhaps could have been, had they been a bit more interested in building out her character.)

The other one of these is practically a no-brainer, even if it does have the return of Captain Dick Botherer

That scene happens in Can You Hear Me? but I agree with you on that

In March 3, it’s the mind-boggling third chapter of Flux versus Alan Cumming’s first foray into the Whoniverse.

And in Match 4, it’s Pting peril vs Flux finale.

Once Upon Time v Witchfinders was such a hard decision, but sprang for the one I’m prone to rewaching the most.

And while I’m a fan of Tauranga, I’d take Vanquishers over it any day (yes, I’m one of those mad people who thino the ending of Flux is quite good, actually)

Witchfinders does nothing for me whatsoever. Once Upon Time sweeps it.

Not wild about Vanquishers, but I’ll take it over the… mess of Tsuranga.

Witchfinders beats Once for me - I enjoy both episodes, but the latter is undoubtedly a mess. Witchfinders has more of that “classic who” vibe that I really like in series 11 - plus it’s set in the North (in fact, one of the things I really appreciate about the Chibnall era is the UK episodes aren’t just set in London and Cardiff).

For the second one, it’s Vanquishers - like Once, it’s a mess, but at least I enjoy it, unlike the other poll option

Wholeheartedly agree. Although It Takes You Away comes out on top, War is the only revival episode thus far which recognises that what makes the Sontarans great comedy villains is simultaneously what makes them a terrifying, credible threat.
