Really enjoyed this week’s show. Moffat is always good value, especially when the questions aren’t the usual suspects reheated.
Enjoyed his thoughts on the River scene they never did (River getting her summons to the Library, and 12 not being able to show his emotions as he realises this is the end, knowing he’ll never see her again once she walks out of the door – he’s right, Capaldi would’ve played the hell out of that). Also respect to him for the comments about Eccleston and the 50th.

This was an enjoyable episode. There’s something about Moffat’s way of talking about Doctor Who and his relationship with it that appeals to me. I found his talk about Day of the Doctor and the original plans for Eccleston the most interesting part of it.
And of course, the fact that he just had to beat RTD in the guessing game by giving himself 4 billion points

Actually, thinking about it, it’s River who sends the “Please come!” message to the Doctor (via psychic paper) once she’s discovered the Library and the shenanigans, and it’s the Tenth Doctor who answers. So that just raises the question of why and how, mid-Darillium, did River Song suddenly find herself embroiled and adventuring with Lux, Dave, Other Dave, etc.
And if she were off gallivanting with that team, 12 might not necessarily know when the last time she walked out the door would be. Unless the summons was really specific, like Other Dave sends her a text saying “hey, our gang want to invite you along for some expeditions and the first trip we’re going to is the Library, come with us!”

She’s probably been adventuring and exploring areas with them in other places off-screen before the Library, since she became a professor.

Was a really fun interview! Always find Steven an engaging speaker. Love his idea about the Doctor meeting up with Rory and Amy for Christmas - would make a fun short story for one of the compilations BBC Books put out now again. The new show with Jenna sounds fun!

I do think the show has improved drastically since they swapped to the format of focusing on one big interview, rather than all the quite variable gubbins they had going on before. I do much prefer Tia to Christel though if I’m honest. And Tyrell seems to have disappeared altogether.

Hearing his original idea for the 50th was so interesting. I’m actually a little bit glad we didn’t get that. The idea of two potential Doctors instead of it just being 11 and 10 doesn’t sound nearly as good as what we actually got. Still really fascinating nonetheless.
I think this might have been the best interview they’ve done on the Whoniverse show thus far. There was some really great questions and answers.
I really like Steven Moffat, he seems very down to earth. I also really enjoyed his discussion about River too.

I find it mostly uninteresting. The “magazine” format of show not my thing. I watch every episode, even if I skip a segment if it’s not doing anything for me.
Occasionally there are gems like the Moffat segment though that engage me.

The framing here, complete with weird sized TARDIS, really makes Waris and Carole look tiny compared to the giant host
