Put all my thoughts behind a spoiler thing because they are all spoilers:
This series is the most gripping yet!
Poor Freddie!! he was just too innocent and naive to survive Charlotte’s betrayal.
And I was totally right about the Seer!
Frankie should have chosen Alexander and they could have won the whole thing. I now want Alexander to win, he seems like such a sweet guy. My initial thoughts about him were wrong.
I don’t want Charlotte to win now. I know it’s just a game, and she’s playing a blinder, but the way she treated Freddie
Watched the penultimate episode, finale and Uncloaked last night and loved every single second.
Well done, @shauny for correctly guessing the secret power - maybe you should apply to go on the next series!
The final episode was the most brutal yet. Having four faithfuls but them not wanting to believe it was awful to watch.
The situation with Alexander was so unfair and it was sadly all down to one person - Leanne. Possibly my least favourite Traitors contestant of all three series. She was pretty unlikeable throughout the whole thing. I’m so glad Jake won, he deserved it, but that result was slightly soured by Leanne sharing the prize. But Leanne’s attitude towards Alex was, I feel, partly because she just didn’t understand the way his skillset as a diplomat manifested itself. She always took it as arrogance or a sign that he was up to something when actually all he was doing was laying out possibilities in the calmest and most reasonable way he could.
I hope Leanne was a better soldier than she was contestant - she seemed awfully overreactive for a soldier. I actually think she was determined to get to the end with as few faithfuls as possible so she could get as much money as possible. Alexander and Frankie were always going to be thrown aside by her, I feel. I know they’re all in it for the money - it’s a game show after all - but she was the only one who has never convinced me that she has actually made any friendships and was just there for the endgame.
Even on Uncloaked there was a bit where Alexander was trying to explain how they’d become good friends after the show and yet I didn’t fully get the impression that Leanne reciprocated.
But anyway - the series was still great and it’s definitely one of the best things on TV at the moment. We may well give the Aussie and NZ versions a go just for a bit more of a fix. The US one just seems sullied by the presence of ‘celebs’ (aka reality star wannabes) but Alan Cumming hosting does tempt me to at least have a look.
I also correctly guessed the outcome, although the only witnesses to this are my husband and this text with my friend (it was 15mins into the episode):
I watched some of the Traitors USA last year and found the contestants too annoying, Alan Cumming was a bit cringe the way he acted, and the challenges were all exactly the same, so I didn’t enjoy it.
the finale for me was uncomfortable, unfortunately i didn’t like the twists and felt it made the came super personal and just an unpleasant viewing experience.
