I wanted to share some really fun news… the Who Story Challenge I was completing one Twitter has resulted in me holding the unofficial record for the longest thread by a single user, previously held by Just A Drop.
Oh, congrats! I was wondering just how close it was getting…

Yeah so when I did research the biggest public one was said to be ‘over 2,000’ long, so I waited for 2,100 to confirm it.
There’s probably some bot-induced one that’s millions long but that shouldn’t count 
This is impressive, though I hate to potentially burst a bubble here in that I do vaguely recall a thread that cracked 10,000 tweets. It was someone tweeting every line of a video-game script line by line for an entire year during Covid lockdown. I want to say Kingdom Hearts or Xenoblade or something like that. I’m pretty sure it broke the site for a day when it hit that amount.
True, I only heard about that after posting (seemingly hidden by Google Search).
Though I think that used automated means to post everything from what I’ve researched since, so mine’s just the longest manual one instead
