The Future of Multimedia Events

There is quite a few smaller publishers that do a lot of licensed comics - Boom Studios, Dynamite (not that I’d want them to get Doctor Who, but still), Image to a lesser extent. I don’t think they would handle Doctor Who as good as Titan did at its best (maybe Boom), but like I said I prefer something to nothing. And with the exception of their latest comic, I think their output have become lazy (Missy, Fugitive, Empire of the Wolf).

Honestly I think the true challenge is that most publishers will see it as an european title with a British reader base and dismiss it as not worth it.

The events like Doom’s Day and Timelord Victorious which spanned across a multitude of different medias from comics, to books, to audiobooks, to audiodramas etc!

It’s a great set and does some good stuff with Peladon.

I looked at all the Peladon stories here:

The only thing that scares me about that set is the VNA book.

It’s a good VNA though :slightly_smiling_face:
The book club is getting close to where the VNAs become a lot more consistent in quality.

I did quit halfway through Transit. Might continue with them someday. I just don’t have time to read that much right now…

The BBC should hire you, because this is a genius idea!

Thank you. But I would not be able to make it good. They can steal it if they want to.

You’re playing it all wrong. You have to offer the idea but require some compensation so you get royalties and not overtly screwed.
